This crystal clear tarn lies close under Buck at about 6400' with nearby meadows ideal for a camp from which to launch a bid for the summit some 2100 feet above. The stream from this tarn falls 2000 feet in three huge leaps to become a brush-protected tributary of Buck Creek.
